Renters --
To search the local MLS for rentals, go to HomesDatabase. Once you are at HomesDatabase, choose the state (Maryland) and then the county. The screen that comes up will have a tab at the top for Residential Rentals. After clicking on that tab, you can then choose the zip code (hold down the Ctrl key to select more than one zip code).

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development's statewide rental housing locator service provides information in both English and Spanish. Includes fields on accessibility, senior housing, lead certification, cost, Section 8 familiarity, and distance to public transportation.

Credit Reports --
You are entitled to a free credit report each year. It's a good idea to keep tabs on your creidt report so you can correct any errors, know that old accounts are closed, and ensure that you are not a victim of identity theft or other fraud. The link below will take you to all of the three major credit reporting companies' websites where you can view your credit report online and print a copy if desired. Your credit FICO score will be available for a small charge.
